St. Andrew’s Presbyterian 5th Annual Activism and Spirituality Conference and Phyllis Bennis Keynote Dinner

Friday, 2/23, 6 p.m.: Author and Institute for Policy Studies fellow Phyllis Bennis will give a talk on “The New Internationalism: Strengthening the United Nations and Ending US Domination” at Wells Branch Community Center, 2106 Klattenhoff. Tickets are $35 and available at www.staopen.com.

Saturday, 2/24, 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Workshops featuring Phyllis Bennis, Dr. Robert Jensen, Bonnie Tamres-Moore, Texas Campaign Finance Reform, Texas Civil Rights Project, Equal Justice Center,GI Rights, Sierra Club, RESULTS, Rev. Dr. James Rigby, Texans for Peace, ACLU, Code Pink, Texas Impact, Equality Texas, Vote Rescue, and Girls Empowerment at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 14311 Wells Port Drive, west of I-35 off Wells Branch Parkway. $10 requested donation.
