Thursday, June 28, 7pm – Red Salmon Arts presents a reading and book signing with Chicana poet/writer Griselda Suarez.

She will read from her collection of short stories, Controlled Burn, and poetry from her chapbook, Unincorporated Life. A native of Los Angeles, Griselda writes about the Chicana experience in East LA. She is currenlty working on a series of handmade chapbooks from her working novel. She believes in the book arts as a form of indy publishing in order to distribute womyn of color writing.
