It Came from Austin ! A Benefit for Texas Moratorium Network and the Save Kenneth Foster campaign, Saturday, July 28, 8:00 PM, The Scoot Inn, 1308 E. 4th St. (21+), $ 5-10 sliding scale
The Texas Moratorium Network Benefit is contributing half of the proceeds from their upcoming benefit to the Save Kenneth Foster Campaign! The other half of the proceeds will be used for the 8th Annual March to Stop Executions in Houston on October 27. There will be several Austin bands, clowns, dancers, and other performances. The show’s sponsors have donated various products and services which will be raffled to attendees. Diablo Rojo, The Boiling Pot, Antone’s Records and Epoch Coffee will be donating gift certificates. EastSide Pies will also donate pizza for attendees. Bands and performers: The Texas Sapphires, The Invincible Czars, Diasporic, Laura Scarborough and Damp Heat.
