Mourn The Loss – Celebrate The Peace
Rally will be followed by an End Of The War parade at 6 pm to City Hall for a 6:30 concert and vigil.
On August 17, 2007 we will have an End Of The War rally and formally declare the end to the war in Iraq and elsewhere. The event will be complete with a parade, music and poetry mourning the loss and celebrating peace.
This will be an effective and positive event addressing a government refusing to acknowledge the opposition within its citizens as well as its own political parties. If the government won’t end the war, why not we the people? After all, we die for it, pay for it, we should at least have the right to end it.
Everyone, young and old, is encouraged to come to this extraordinary event in American history. So bring your friends, bring your family, bring your pets, for a great moment any true patriot can be proud of and never forget.
