Every 3rd Friday beginning September 21st, the Iraq Moratirum is calling for local actions: Two groups that I am active with plan – at a minimum – to show up at the Capitol at 5:00 on the 21st to join forces with those who vigil there on Friday. The groups are Movement for a Democratic Society (MDS) and Texas Labor Against the War. Please march on the 15ht AND come to the the Capitol on the 21st. As part of the Moratorium, it is suggested that local antiwar activists:

• Wear black ribbons or armbands
• Buy no gas
• Pressure politicians and the media
• Hold vigils, pickets, rallies, and teach-ins
• Host film showings and educaitonal events
