CodePink Austin presents: Peace In Your Backyard!!!! Banner event, Friday, September 21st, 2007, International peace day, 5:30-7:00pm

Let’s make a big statement to bring peace now one group at a time.

Codepink Austin will be displaying banners throughout Austin and we’d like your group to join us Friday evening at rush hour all over town.

O In YOUR neighborhood
O With YOUR friends and family
O With YOUR groups
O At YOUR Church
O Off YOUR local bridge
O Off your capital building
O Where ever The message of peace needs to be heard

If you would like to participate, Here’s what you do:

1. Let us know who you are (what your group wants to be called) and where you will be displaying your banner by sending us an email at info@codepinkaustin .com. Codepink Austin will promote the groups and locations of the banners.

2. Make banner that promotes peace!!!

3. Display your banner between 5:30 and 7:00pm on September 21st. Possible places include a street corner…in front of an army recruiting station…in front of a war profiteer’s business…off the side of a bridge…along a highway.

4. Take a picture of your group and your banner (either digital or regular) and we will put them all on our website.
