E.A.S.T. 2007 is the sixth annual arts event that celebrates the visual arts in east Austin. This year, more than 200 artists will be opening their studios throughout the east side for a free two-day event.

E.A.S.T. will take place Saturday, November 17th and Sunday, November 18th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

How It Works:

On Saturday and Sunday, 113 studios throughout east Austin will open their doors to the public. Visitors can purchase art, learn more about an artist’s specific tools and techniques, watch a
demonstration or simply talk with an artist about his or her recent work.

The tour is self-guided. Maps to all the studios will be provided, and visitors can use the E.A.S.T. website and catalog to select which studios they would like to see.

The E.A.S.T. catalog, a full-color book showing the work of every artists, will be available for
purchase for $5, cash or check only. Locations include BookPeople, Half Price Books, Miller Blueprint, Big Red Sun and d. Berman Gallery.
