SUNDAY, JANUARY 20TH, 1:00 – 2:30, 8002 DOWNING ST., Austin, 78759
Central Texas Peace Alliance Volunteer Meeting and Potluck
Dear Friends of Peace,
First of all, I wish you all a peaceful 2008 and hope your year is off to a good start. It’s been a while since we held a meeting of our local grassroots group, so this Sunday we will be kicking off the Austin area campaign for 2008.
I hope you will consider coming – to connect with others, get info on the upcoming activities we are planning, and see how you might want to contribute.
If you have been thinking that this might be the time to get more involved in the Dept. of Peace campaign, or if you just haven’t been to one of our meetings before and wonder what it’s all about, I heartily welcome you.
Agenda:
* Introductions
* Brief review od HR808 to create a Dept. of Peace
* MLK Day events (that’s the next day!)
* South Central Regional Conference April 25-26, Dallas
If you have questions or need more information just call me at 512-845-6377.
Peaceful days,
David Jenkins
