10am Protest and Press Conference, 2110 E. 4th St., corner of 4th and Robert Martinez

12 noon, meet us at City Hall for Citizen’s Communication, 301 E. Cesar Chavez St.

We are calling on you to join us for a protest and press conference in front of the Pure Casting facility on 2110 E. 4th St this Thursday December 18, 2008 at 10am.

Afterwards, we will go to City Hall and also need your support and presence so that the City will know there are many people in Austin who support the relocation of this hazardous facility.

Join us in ending 2008 with with a revolutionary form of resistance for justice in our East Austin community!

Pure Casting is an air and noise polluter. It is right across the street from Zavala Elementary, Pan Am Recreation Center, and hundreds of homes. We need a huge presence at this protest and at City Hall.

Please join us to help us relocate Pure Casting and advocate for the building of affordable housing in its place.
