ReEnergize Texas Summit

2009 ReEnergize Texas Summit: March 28-30, Huston-Tillotson University, Austin, TX

Hundreds of youth from across Texas are descending on Austin to learn, network and act to make Texas a leader in clean and just energy, green jobs creation and climate solutions.

Register today: www.ReEnergizeTexas.org

The first two days of ReEnergize Texas includes an inspiring and informative array of speakers, workshops, skills trainings and networking sessions (see below) providing solutions that tackle economic failure, environmental and social injustice and climate change.

On Monday, Mar 30, hundreds will march from Huston-Tillotson in East Austin to the Capitol Building where we will meet with elected officials in the state legislature to demand bold legislation that prioritizes environmental justice, renewable energy and green jobs.

We know that 2009 is a critical year for our economy and climate, particularly in Texas where the legislature meets only every two years. Last month, 12,000 young people from across the country took a message of urgent climate and clean energy action to our leaders in Washington DC at Power Shift ’09. Now, its our turn to stand up here in Texas.

Register by midnight March 22 to receive a free American Apparel Organic Cotton t-shirt
