COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUTH EMPOWERMENT! YSJ, a project of People Organized in Defense of the Earth & her Resources (PODER), is dedicated to the development of youth & young adults of color to address education, environmental, economic, and social justice issues affecting them and ensure gender, racial and resource equity.
SOY, a project of Red Salmon Arts, seeks to empower youth through participation in writing workshops focusing on culture, arts, and literacy. SOY engages youth in alternative educational settings, middle and high school students, and those under the supervision of the juvenile justice system.
