Capital Metro officials announced a plan Monday for a new fare hike on top of the fare hike imposed last fall, in combination with drastic cuts in service. Since the last fare hike, ridership has declined by over a million trips and counting, compared to last year. The new hike is even steeper and combined with lower fuel prices will devastate community mobility and air quality. Please join with assorted members of affected groups at a meeting to plan our pushback.
