This week’s conversation is titled “Incarceration,” and speakers will include: Jorge Antonio Renaud, a poet, writer, and consultant with first hand experience in the Texas prison system; Diana Claitor, director of the Texas Jail Project; and Susan Fenner, director of the Texas Inmates Family Association (TIFA).
Please join us for short presentations by our panelists followed by a collective, critical conversation with everyone present to address alternative approaches to incarceration, ways of dealing with prison conditions, and many other topics. Thank you for all of your help, and we encourage you to join us and bring your family, friends, and neighbors this Wednesday. Please forward the information regarding the conversation series to your list serves, as well.
Best,
