Memorial Service for Mahatma Gandhi – January 30 – Shraddhanjali is a memorial service in honor of Mahatma Gandhi, father of modern Bharat, India, and Apostle of Peace. It is to commemorate the parting of Mahatma Gandhi’s soul on January 30, 1948. All are invited to the Gandhi statue in Hermann Park at 10 am to pay their personal homage to Mahatma Gandhi. There will be a brief ceremony at the statue followed by memorial service indoors, which will be from 11 am – 12 Noon.
